Enormously grateful to have been given the opportunity to help craft the PACT Act 2022, which was unveiled by the Massachusetts Senate on February 3, 2022. The Senate has continually been a leader in putting forth policies to address rising healthcare costs, and the PACT Act 2022 represents the next step in that effort – a focus on addressing rising prescription drug costs, improving patient access to medications, and enhancing transparency and oversight within the pharmaceutical industry. The PACT Act 2022 passed the Massachusetts Senate on February 10, 2022 but did not pass the Massachusetts House of Representatives.
